Live Roulette

An operator runs a real roulette wheel in front of any camera, players watch the picture and bet on a timed round, and the dealer taps the number the ball landed on. This page shows both sides at once: the player's table and the dealer's console.

The simulated dealer is running this table. Pick Be the dealer to use your own camera.

Plays HLS (.m3u8), MP4 or WebM files and streams, and MJPEG camera feeds. Page links from YouTube or Twitch need that service's own player.

Bets open Place your bets Betting is open. Call the number after it closes.
0:20
The simulated dealer taps the number when the ball lands.

No provably fair seed here: the result is the real ball, called by the dealer. Nothing is drawn by software.

Feed

A simulated dealer runs the table until you pick Be the dealer (your webcam, only after you click, and it stays in this browser) or Use a stream link. Other players and chat are simulated. Play money, shared by every table game.

How it works

How a round plays.

01

Bets open, 20 seconds

Players watch the wheel on the live picture and put chips on numbers and outside bets. Stakes run $10 to $500 a round.

02

No more bets

The layout locks and the dealer spins. The dealer has up to 45 seconds to call the number.

03

The dealer taps the number

When the ball settles, the dealer taps that number on the console. That tap is the result, and every bet is paid at once.

04

Result, 8 seconds

The number shows on every screen with each player's win, then goes into the history and the next round opens. If nobody calls in time, stakes go back.

Operator setup

What it takes to run one.

Wheel

A real roulette wheel

Any European single zero wheel on a table with good light. The wheel is the random number generator, so there is nothing to certify in software for the result itself.

Camera

Any camera

A USB webcam on the dealer's computer, or an IP camera, encoder or streaming service that gives a stream address (HLS, MP4 or WebM, or an MJPEG feed).

Console

A laptop or tablet

The dealer console runs in a browser next to the wheel: pick the camera or paste the address, watch the round clock, tap the number.

People

A live dealer

In production a person runs the table, spins the ball and calls each number. This demo uses a simulated dealer so the table keeps running when nobody is at the wheel.

Your version

What operators can change.

Payouts are the European wheel from the Appently table library's roulette engine: straight up 35 to 1, dozens and columns 2 to 1, even money 1 to 1, and zero takes the outside bets. Provably fair is not used at the live table, because the result is the real ball.
