Season-long baseball poolEach entry is assigned an MLB team, and every final score that team posts marks off a run total. The first team to record every total from 0 to 13 takes the pot, so players have a reason to check the box scores every day.
Press Play the day to run one day of games, or Sim to the finish to keep playing until a team records all 14 totals. Click any team on the board to see its card. Scores are simulated.
When the pool fills, each entry is randomly assigned one of the 30 MLB teams and keeps it all season.
After each game the team's final run total is recorded with the date the game started. Totals of 14 or more do not count, and postponed games are not recorded.
The board shows which totals each team still needs. The high totals, 11 to 13, are usually the last ones left.
If two teams finish on the same day, fewer games played wins, then whoever scored 13 first, then 12, and so on. If nobody finishes, the teams with the most marks split the pot.
